Parent Expectations

1. Pay Booster club dues or your child will not be eligible for any post season honors or  receive any recommendations for colleges or  all-star teams.

2. Be positive and respectful of all players, coaches and umpires.

3. Discuss any issue by scheduling a time to meet with the coach or coaches away from the field.

4. Refrain from any interaction with coaches or players during a game.

5. Stay away from the dugout during a game.

6. Refrain from “coaching” your child during a game.

7. Be aware of the expectations given to the players, and help them abide and adhere to those guidelines.

8. Support the overall good of the entire program.

Shiloh Softball Player Expectations

·       Treat coaches with respect. Disrespect towards any coach will lead to disciplinary actions.

·       Accept the role given by the coaches.

·       Pay dues or   you will not be eligible for any post season awards or nominations!

·       Participate in all fundraisers.

·       Practice, play and travel with shirts tucked in and                        buttoned

·       Practice in the following colors only: black, gray, white.

·       Have cleats clean and shined before each game.

·       Only wear uniform items on game day.

·       Be in school at all times and schedule personal activities around softball.

·       Participate and support the entire softball program, regardless of level.

·       Commit to the good of the program.

·       Be on time to all softball functions.

·       Accept instruction only from team coaches during practice and games.

·       Ride bus to and from all games to promote team unity.

·       5 absences or 3 unexcused absences from practice or games will result in dismissal from the program.

·       There should be no outside food or drinks in the dugout during games.

·       Anything detrimental to the team will lead to disciplinary actions by the coaches.

·       Any major offenses (arrests, drugs, smoking etc.) will be dealt with on a case by case basis with punishment starting with no less than 200 poles before returning to team or possibly removal from team!
